ACCESS TO THE MARINA FROM THE SEA
The Kärdla Marina was built to facilitate the transportation of raw material for manufacturing and the resulting products. Now it is a charming yacht marina. There is a shop and a restaurant to visit. The Tourism Information Centre is located in the Kärdla Fire station, which is definitely worth seeing.
Exposed to E winds. Approach along the Kärdla leading line 162.2°–342.2° (2 Fl W 2 s). The fairway begins from WP1 (59°03.70′ N; 022°43.35′ E). From WP2 (59°00.73′ N; 022°45.19′ E) steer into the marina around the N breakwater (Fl(2) G 4 s, green metal cylinder). E breakwater is marked with light beacon – (Fl(2) R 4 s, red metal cylinder).
Approach from E through Püssirahu passage WP1 (59°02.75′ N 022°56.35′ E), follow leading line 229.6°– 049.6°. WP2 Võirahu S spar buoy (59°01.29′ N 022°51.60′ E). From WP3 (59°01.23′ N 022°47.92′ E) follow the lateral marking.
