ACCESS TO THE MARINA FROM THE SEA
Orissaare port is located on the Illiku islet in Orissaare, only 700 m from the centre. The port and the Väike-Väin Strait are a great environment for sailing. The port is well protected from storm winds and waves. Around mid-July you can attend the “I Land Sound” music festival, which is very popular among locals and has received a lot of positive feedback.
Approach from safe water buoy (58°37.242′ N; 22°57.955′ E) and follow 130°–310° till the red lateral buoy (58°33.795′ N; 23°5.680′ E) from which you can easily see the green beacon (Fl G 1,5 s) at the end of the marina. Exposed to S, SE winds and chop. Every third week of July takes place I Land Sound festival which is environmental friendly 4-day art and music event. Therefore you can see a lot of landart and sculptures on the islet (more info www.ilandsound.ee).
