Sheltered from all directions.
Narva town harbour is situated 7 nmi upriver from the river mouth. The approach is safe, but steer right in the middle of the river. When steering in bends, keep to the outer side of the bend. Depth in the middle part of the Narva River, near the border between the Republic of Estonia and the Russian Federation, is 3.4 – 8.7 m. The border is marked by red ball fenders.
